1999

1999 Gold Medal Champions - 60+ Olympic Team

In the front row left to right is Marlene Dunsmore, Betsy Duce, Betty de la Cruz, Pat “too tall” Blackmon, Joyce Robertson , Edie Jones and Beth Hersey.


2001

The 60+ Olympic team played hard and took the Silver Medal at the 2001 Olympics in Baton Rouge.  The team members were: 

Mary Adams, Pat Blackmon, Helen Boyd, Flora Clark, Marlene Dunsmore, Loni Etherton, Lana Ford, Helen Goetzke, Midge Holmes, Margaret Keys, Toni Letaw, Catherine Miescier, Bettie Pell, Jane Rogers, and Janet Weeks


2003

In 2003 The 60+ Olympic Team came home with the Gold Medal from the Olympics in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Congratulations! There were nine teams in their bracket. They won 5 out of 6 games, losing the first game to Arizona, whom they later beat for the championship.  In the semi's, they beat the Colorado team that won the gold in 2001. Spectators were awed by their defensive play.
